180 Youth Group
Our youth group is designed for students in grades 6-12. We’re all about helping teens build relationships that change lives through the “180 turn” the Lord does in our lives through the cross. It is a safe place for students — no matter what their church background looks like — to ask questions, have fun, learn how to tackle real-life issues, and explore faith. We help students grow in four key areas:
Connecting with God
Connecting to one another
Connecting through serving together
Connecting with those outside of the church
Confirmation
Confirmation is one step in making disciples of Jesus. In baptism, the Holy Spirit and faith are given as a gift from God. Confirmation is then the time for a child to confirm this gift of faith as their own. In this class they will study the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles Creed, and the meaning of the sacraments. The main textbook for this class is the Word of God. When this course is completed, each student shares with the church their testimony of salvation and commitment to follow Jesus.
